SOCIAL SECURITY INCREASE

Monthly Social Security and Supplemental Security Income benefits for more than 55 million Americans will increase 5.8 percent in 2009, the Social Security Administration announced today. The 5.8 percent increase is the largest since 1982. This was announced by the Socail Security Administration October 16.


HOLIDAY DECORATING

     It's that time of year again! If you are planning to decorate your porch or doorway this holiday season, PLEASE check with the office FIRST to make sure your decorations do not damage the new siding. We have clips that can be used to hang your light strings around the doorway that won't damage the siding. They can be purchased at the office for just $3.00 for a pack of 24 clips, enough to go around the entire porch. Remember, any damage done to the siding will be charged to the Resident. Better to be safe than sorry!


DON'T FEED THE ANIMALS

     We've noticed that some of our Residents are putting food out for the stray animals that come on to the property. Please do not feed the strays. The food attracts bugs as well as keeps the strays here. Also, DO NOT allow any stray animal into your apartment. It violates your Lease and could be very dangerous. Stray animals carry diseases and could bring fleas into your apartment. Remember, if you are found to have an animal in your apartment you can be evicted.




VISITORS AND GUESTS

When you have visitors or guests come to visit, they must obey our parking rules. Guests are not allowed to park in the driveway behind other parked cars, or in another Residents space. They are to use the overflow spaces or spaces where there is a vacancy.  Also, if you are having a guest stay overnight, please notify the office ahead of time. This is for your protection as well as that of the other Residents.
